Taos

Taos, New Mexico, formed the scenery for the birth of the idea of simply sharing translation memories in an open industry platform. The group of industry leaders in the sacred circle of the El Monte Sagrado hotel.

This report covers the discussions developed during the TAUS Summit held in Taos, NM in March 2007. They focus on the proposal to build a co-operative platform aimed at sharing language data on an industry-wide basis.
