Company Description

beo was founded in 2003. The head office is located in Stuttgart. So far, we have grown with additional branches in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Bonn.

We are well known for our joy in development and our affinity to technology. For instance, we consistently deploy open standards, we have developed our own efficient production system, which dovetails with our beoSphere customer portal, and we are co-initiators of the Forum Open Language Tools and of openTMS, the first professional open-source Translation Memory System.

With its beoSphere portal, beo relies on a tried and tested mixture of international standards such as XLIFF, TMX, TBX and SRX. Modern computer linguistic methods, web technologies and suitable databases round off our technological foundation to guarantee that high quality is produced efficiently.

Our quality management system defines processes in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, quality criteria for detecting, handling and measuring errors in accordance with SAE J 2450, and processes compliant with EN 15038. Depending on customer requirements, we certify our conformity with ISO 13485 (medical devices).
