Company Description

Excitement about emerging technologies is nothing new to Language Intelligence. In its 20 years of existence, Language Intelligence has always prioritized the evolving needs of its clients, and developed innovative technical solutions to meet changing requirements. Creating new solutions to increase efficiency in the translation process to better serve our client base is a constant goal.

Our clients and their customers are located all over the world, in the most cosmopolitan of cities and, at times, the most remote of villages; they all need to be reached as quickly and effectively as possible, no matter what language they speak. The evolution of the translation industry has seen volumes increase, turnaround times shorten, and language requests diversify, making aggressive and ambitious technological developments not only an added value, but a necessity.

Language Intelligence believes that automated translation will not only allow more text to be translated more quickly, but will greatly increase the level of customization possible, by freeing translators from the manual task of translation and enabling them to concentrate on creating culturally adapted localizations: translations that don't simply make sense in another language, but fully function in another culture.

Translation memory technology has already given translators the ability to leverage previously translated material. Automated translation will give them the added advantage of providing the actual words for brand new material, allowing them the time to make precise judgments about the cultural implications of the translation.
