TAUS and Translators Association of China sign partnership agreement
22nd November, 2011, Amsterdam – TAUS, the translation innovation think tank, and Translators Association of China (TAC) have entered a partnership, allowing their respective members access to the networks, communities and knowledge of the two organizations. Members of TAC receive a 20% discount on TAUS membership fees and members of TAUS receive a 20% discount on TAC membership fees. TAUS and TAC also agree to support each other’s events for the language service industry.
TAUS will help to bring to the attention of its members the 2011 China Localization Service Forum on December 10, 2011 in Shenzhen, China, the first nation-wide localization event which will bring together the demand and the supply sides of language services, language technology companies and universities with translation programs to discuss the future trend of the language service industry. TAC will support the TAUS Asia Translation Summit on April 25-26 in Beijing.
The TAUS Asia Translation Summit, hosted by CCID, will bring together buyers and providers of translations services and technologies from the global TAUS community and the Chinese TAC community for a two-day conference focused on new strategies and technologies in the localization industry.
