The TDA Integrators Meeting is intended for anyone interested in linking their own software or website directly to the TDA platform. Various levels of integration are possible. All are free of charge. Membership is not required.
The TAUS Search service is a very popular resource for translators and multilingual professionals around the world. TDA members and non-members can link their own website or translation tool to the TAUS Search, allowing users to retrieve translations directly from the super cloud industry repository of translation memories. TDA also offers API’s for integration with the TM Sharing services, allowing users to upload and download translation memories without having to leave their applications.
In the Integrators meeting the TDA development team will share an overview of the technical components, discuss current integration activities as well as the TDA development roadmap.
This meeting is particularly useful for technical and development managers, who can ask and discuss all the relevant questions and development options and opportunities directly with the TDA developers.
The TAUS Data Association (TDA) Web Service allows programs to use many features of TDA, including:
- TM Sharing (upload)
- Data pooling (download)
- TAUS Search (simple segment search only)
- Translation Matching (translation memory matching/leverage)
The Service has a "Representational State Transfer", or REST, interface. Parameters as passed as in HTML forms. Responses are returned as either JSON or XML documents, at your choice. For more information, please see TDA’s API documentation.
This Meeting take place ahead of the TAUS User Conference, a non-sponsored TAUS event focused on the best in translation technologies and strategies.
